The Vision of our College

Baqa College is an educational institution that attracts students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds within Israeli society in general, and the Arab community in particular. The college will encourage and empower its students to invest in their latent abilities. It will also do its utmost to develop the academic staff and enhance research work.

The college stands out in its ability to create mutual partnerships and relationships between a developed community with conservative characteristics, and educational concepts and advanced management approaches. The college leads an initiative to empower women in the Arab community, whether as students, lecturers, researchers in the academic staff, or as holders of significant academic and administrative positions. From here, the college is moving towards developing human resources based on freedom of choice, human rights, and women's rights in a developed society.

Baqa College was established to offer higher education to the Arab community in the country as a central goal of the Council for Higher Education. It presents educational programs that resonate in the labor market, and will help its students integrate into the job market.

The college aspires to increase the percentage of Arab graduates from its academic programs, making the Arab community capable of integrating into and supporting the country's economy. This comes after it has been shown that the economy in our country loses 40 billion NIS each year in terms of "national output" due to the underutilization of the latent abilities of the Arab community members. Therefore, the college will focus on the educational-social aspect concerning Arab academics, facilitating their process of acquiring higher education in a supportive social environment that works to unlock and nurture their academic potential. As a result, the college will strive to reduce the phenomenon of studying abroad, a trend that is increasingly on the rise, by responding to the needs of its students within the college.

The college will focus on the concept of entrepreneurship, as it works in technological, organizational, and economic research, which will develop the economy in the Arab community and contribute to increasing the proportion of the middle socio-economic class in it. Entrepreneurship will also help raise the quality of life in our community. As a result, feelings of exclusion will be minimized as much as possible due to neglect and marginalization. This requires a knowledge-based environment that nurtures capabilities and provides tools for its academic students, which will be found in "Baqa College, an Arab College that Brings Us Together."
