Renewable Energy Engineering


The Renewable Energy Engineering program is one of the leading programs in Palestinian universities, granting a Bachelor's degree upon completing 158 credit hours.
The program focuses on providing specialized engineering education in the fields of renewable and sustainable energy generation, including solar energy, wind energy, bioenergy, geothermal energy, and tidal energy.
The program aims to equip students with modern skills to design and analyze renewable energy systems of various sizes, in addition to preparing them to contribute to solving global climate issues.

The curriculum includes a set of specialized engineering courses in the fields of renewable energy and the environment, in addition to practical courses in specialized laboratories. The detailed curriculum can be viewed on the university's website.


To join the program, the following requirements must be met:

  1. High school diploma (Bagrut or Tawjihi) according to the requirements of each specialization.

  2. Achieving the minimum required grade:

    • Renewable Energy Engineering: 80%


To register at Al-Zaytouna University – Baqa Pathway, the following documents must be submitted:

  • Original high school diploma.

  • A copy of the personal ID (front and back).

  • Other required documents according to the admission procedures.


  • Number of in-person class days: 3 days a week.

  • Location of meetings:

    • At Al-Zaytouna University (in-person).

    • At Baqa College (in-person via Zoom).

  • Transportation arrangements are provided by Baqa College.
