Optics


Optics, or the science of optics, is a branch of physics and engineering that studies the properties of light, its production, transmission, detection, measurement, and usage.
In this program, students study the types of optical devices, the eye as an optical instrument, measurements related to the eye and glasses, how to equip glasses using the latest technologies, and the marketing and management of optical businesses.

Through this track, students are trained to obtain a certified optician qualification (אופטיקאי מוסמך), enabling them to practice this profession in laboratories, companies, or institutions specializing in the marketing and manufacturing of glasses and lenses.

The optics program at Al-Qasemi College of Engineering and Science is distinguished by:

Morning classes, two days a week, one academic year.

Through this program, students are trained to obtain a Certified Optician qualification (אופטיקאי מוסמך), enabling them to practice this profession either in laboratories, companies, or institutions involved in the marketing and manufacturing of glasses and lenses.
