Baqa College was established as a pioneering idea to meet the higher education needs of the Arab community. The initiative began in 2007 when a request was submitted to the Council for Higher Education to open an educational institution in the city of Baqa al-Gharbiyyeh. In 2011, the Baqa College Association was officially registered with the Registrar of Associations under the name "Baqa College (NPO)."
